FPA worked with Jersey City Medical Complex, LLC and the Jersey City Medical Center on the development of a five-story 75,000-square-foot medical office building on a 4.28 acre site on the campus of the Jersey City Medical Center.
FPA provided diverse engineering services including geotechnical, structural, building systems and environmental regulatory compliance for the construction of the medical office building. The development of the Medical Complex, which took place from 2000 to 2004, involved substantial geotechnical, demolition and site remediation services due to previous urban industrialization.
FPA also provided Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection (MEP/FP) engineering services for the proposed Medical Office Building. The work included service for the 5 floors of tenant lease space as well as lobbies, corridors, elevators, rest room facilities, and stair ways.
