Brian serves as Senior Vice President and Site Engineering Services Manager for our civil engineering department at our corporate headquarters office.  Brian has been involved in the planning and engineering design of various municipal, residential, commercial, and industrial projects.  His responsibilities include the design and management of these projects from the conceptual planning stage to the final design and construction stage.

During his career, Brian has worked on numerous residential subdivisions, site plans, and flood control projects.  He has performed and managed many engineering design functions, such as performing site feasibility studies, conceptual development layout, yield map analysis, roadway design including horizontal and vertical road alignment, parking lot and circulation design, site grading, stormwater management system design, detention basin hydrologic analysis, sanitary sewer system main extension and service design, potable and fire water main system design, earthwork analysis, flood plain and floodway hydraulic analysis, and site evaluation and design of individual subsurface sewage disposal systems.

As such, Brian has been exposed to a variety of field work and construction monitoring, such as observing test borings and test pits to classify the subsurface soil conditions, to handling unforeseen site related conflicts that arise during construction.  Other field work includes his involvement with a survey crew, where he served as an instrument operator and has experience in data collection.  His additional experience includes the preparation of engineering and construction permits including New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection freshwater wetlands, stream encroachment, dam safety, sanitary sewer and water main extensions, soil erosion and sediment control, and municipal and county planning board approvals.

Brian has also provided expert witness testimony at numerous municipal planning and zoning boards of adjustments to present engineering testimony for many development applications.

Brian is also the recipient of the Distinguished Engineering Award from the New Jersey Alliance for Action for his involvement of the design and implementation of Monmouth County’s first two public-access compressed natural gas (CNG) stations.  This award is presented to those who had a key role in projects that promote capital construction and infrastructure that help advance New Jersey’s economy and environment.
