Construction included a new roundabout and access road adjacent to the Rowan College of South Jersey’s campus to ease vehicular traffic and boost pedestrian facilities. The project included a new roundabout, a new access road, a 10’ multiuse path, milling and paving, curb, sidewalk, ADA curb ramps, inlets, manholes, drainage pipe, striping, signage and expansion of a drainage basin.
Construction for this State-Funded, $3 million, Gloucester County-driven project at the Rowan College of South Jersey Campus included: the construction of a new roundabout; concrete island, curb, and sidewalk; stamped concrete island; a new bicycle and pedestrian path; upgrading existing and installation of new drainage facilities; new drainage basin; concrete curb ramps to meet ADA compliance; milling and paving; installing RPM’s and new traffic striping and markings; new traffic signage; and coordination with project stakeholders and utilities.
