FPA Celebrates National Construction Appreciation Week
National Construction Appreciation Week is an opportunity to recognize the people and expertise that shape the construction industry. Founded by I Build America, this week honors the dedicated, hardworking men and women in the industry who are instrumental in the development of our infrastructure and facilities. French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is proud to join in this recognition, as construction engineering is one of the firm’s core services. It is a discipline that ensures projects are built safely, efficiently, and with the quality that communities can depend on. FPA’s work in construction engineering includes providing clients with Construction Management, Administration, Inspection, and Materials Testing services.
The firm’s construction engineering project managers, resident engineers, inspectors, and construction specialists bring experience-based local knowledge and Best Management Practices to each assignment. Our team also offers expertise with federal and state-funded infrastructure projects, as well as FHWA grant experience, including preparing initial, construction phase, and closeout documentation to secure hundreds of millions of dollars in reimbursements.
The services FPA provides span the full lifecycle of construction oversight, and they are designed to keep projects moving forward seamlessly. The firm manages construction from the earliest planning stages to final project closeout, offering contract administration and documentation, daily coordination and scheduling, and responsive handling of RFIs and change orders. In the field, FPA provides resident engineering and federal compliance oversight, prepare cost estimates, and conduct thorough inspections throughout the process. Quality assurance and control are embedded into every step, supported by the firm’s materials testing program, which ensures that soils, concrete, and asphalt meet the standards required for long-term performance.
As National Construction Appreciation Week is recognized, FPA does so with gratitude for the staff who make these services possible, and for the clients and communities who allow the firm to put its expertise to work.
