Public Outreach
Public Outreach
Successful infrastructure projects depend on more than sound engineering. They require effective communication, stakeholder coordination, and meaningful public involvement. French & Parrello Associates’ (FPA) Public Outreach team supports clients in navigating complex stakeholder environments, helping projects advance with clarity, transparency, and consensus.
FPA develops and implements strategic outreach programs that inform, engage, and empower communities throughout every phase of project development. Our approach blends behavior-informed communication, Transportation Demand Management (TDM) principles, and regulatory compliance to create outreach that is both effective and actionable. We prioritize accessible, inclusive, and culturally responsive engagement strategies to ensure all community members have meaningful opportunities to participate and be heard.
FPA’s outreach team is composed of marketing and communications professionals, including Professional Certified Marketers, MBA-level strategists, and branding specialists, as well as experienced event coordinators and a Certified Transportation Demand Management Professional (TDM-CP). This expertise allows us to develop outreach that not only informs, but resonates, ensuring messaging is clear, compliant, and tailored to diverse stakeholder groups.

Transportation Demand Management
Where appropriate, FPA integrates Transportation Demand Management (TDM) principles into public outreach to support equitable mobility outcomes, including improved access to transportation options for underserved communities. Our TDM Certified Professionals allow us to support projects that require behavior-based strategies to influence travel choices.
When incorporated, our approach may include travel behavior analysis, identification of mode choice barriers, and development of targeted communication strategies that support mode shift, trip reduction, and improved multimodal access.
