Wall Township, NJ, February 5, 2026 – French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is pleased to announce the hiring of Edward Herrman, PE, PP, CME, CFM, as the Manager of Municipal Services for Central & South New Jersey. Mr. Herrman’s hiring is part of a broader initiative by FPA to increase it’s already growing presence in the New Jersey municipal market.

Mr. Herrman is a civil engineer with more than 34 years of experience providing municipal, land development, and infrastructure engineering services throughout New Jersey. His career has been centered on supporting both public and private sector clients on complex community and land development initiatives, with a strong emphasis on guiding projects from early planning and permitting through design, construction, and successful completion.

Mr. Herrman brings a strong background in municipal engineering, having served communities across New Jersey in key advisory and engineering roles. His experience includes supporting local governments with land use and development review, capital improvement planning, infrastructure upgrades, and regulatory coordination. He is well-versed in working collaboratively with municipal staff, elected officials, boards, and regulatory agencies to deliver practical, compliant solutions that advance community goals.

Mr. Herrman earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Rutgers University in 1991. He is licensed as a Professional Engineer, Professional Planner, and Certified Municipal Engineer in New Jersey, and holds certification as a Certified Floodplain Manager. He is an active member of the American Society of Floodplain Managers and the New Jersey Association of Floodplain Managers.
