French & Parrello Associates (FPA) provided full service engineering and consulting services for Maplewood at Princeton, a $30 million, state-of-the-art assisted living facility, located in Plainsboro, New Jersey. The  three story 98,000 square foot facility, which was officially opened in August of 2021, features 105 total residential units, including 56 for assisted living and 49 for memory care. A 6,400 square foot outdoor garden and courtyard allow for a secure space where residents can relax outside. Additional features include a library, salon, theatre, fitness center, game rooms, large dining room and cafe, and a teaching kitchen.

Initially, FPA provided Site Engineering, Survey, Landscape Architecture, Environmental, and Geotechnical Engineering. Not long after the project’s groundbreaking, however, complications arose with construction progress becoming a concern and FPA was retained to return the project to the approved timeline.
