FPA Attends Echo Hill Dam Restoration Groundbreaking Ceremony
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) staff — Eric C. Betz, PE, BCEE, CME, Kyle Taylor, PE, and Austin Werner — joined Hunterdon County officials to celebrate the groundbreaking of the Echo Hill Pond Dam Rehabilitation Project.
Led by Project Manager Christopher W. Marx, PE, FPA’s design team developed plans for major site upgrades, including a new concrete spillway, sluice gate, pedestrian bridge, stilling basin, and improvements to the earthen embankment. At the ceremony, the County recognized FPA for guiding the project’s design and supporting them through the regulatory process.
Construction by Kalogridis Contracting LLC is now underway, with completion expected in February 2026. FPA will continue supporting the County by providing construction engineering services. These improvements will preserve Echo Hill Park as one of Hunterdon County’s most desired community destinations, and FPA is proud to play a role in enhancing this resource for generations to come!
