French & Parrello Associates (FPA) provided quality assurance/quality control for the American Dream Entertainment and Retail Complex (formerly known as Xanadu) in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The multi-billion-dollar project included retail space, an indoor ski slope, an indoor waterpark, and an indoor amusement park as well as various site improvements.

FPA was responsible for completing accurate quality control field testing procedures and documentation throughout this dynamic construction project which also includes pile-supported parking decks and multi-story buildings and pedestrian bridges, on-site roadways, ramps and parking lots. Our scope of work included providing Special Inspection services during construction, providing field management and technical field expertise in areas of construction monitoring services, reinforcing steel inspections, concrete placement testing, sprayed-on fireproofing, structural steel fabrication and erection inspections and associated documentation and reporting.
