TOSA Offshore Ocean Outfall Project Wins National Recognition
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is excited to announce that the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) has awarded the TOSA Offshore Ocean Outfall Replacement Project with a 2021 National Recognition Award. The project was also awarded the 2021 Engineering Excellence Diamond Award by ACEC New York. FPA is honored to have been part of the project team with Hazen and Sawyer, Hall & Associates, W.F. Baid & Associates, and Corrosion Probe Inc.
The primary goal of the project was to perform a condition assessment of a 50+ year old, 6,000 foot long ocean outfall, owned by the Township of Ocean Sewerage Authority (TOSA), as well as design the rehabilitation and improvements, and oversee their implementation. FPA’s part in the project was to perform Geotechnical Borings for the ocean-based pipeline replacement and Bathymetric Surveys of the ocean bottom.
