FPA Names Eric C. Betz as Director of Infrastructure
WALL TOWNSHIP, NJ – French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is excited to announce that it has named Eric C. Betz, PE, BCEE, CME as Director of Infrastructure. Mr. Betz, who previously led FPA’s Water & Wastewater Department, has more than 33 years in engineering, management, and business development experience within the water, transportation, building, and energy sectors.
In his new role, Mr. Betz will continue to oversee operations in the Water & Wastewater Department, while also overseeing the company’s Water Resources and Dams, Municipal Engineering, and Solid Waste Departments. His vision, strategic thinking, and technical acumen, gained over his more than three decades of experience, will help to guide the company as they tackle complex and vital infrastructure challenges for clients.

Throughout his career, Mr. Betz has developed a broad range of expertise, working with county, state, and federal entities, as well as public agencies, utility authorities, and transportation organizations. He has successfully guided clients through the process of securing funding from local, state, and federal programs to advance critical capital projects. His experience spans planning, permitting, design, and construction-phase engineering services for key infrastructure projects that improve the health, safety, and welfare of the public.
Mr. Betz earned Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Civil and Environmental Engineering from Rutgers University School of Engineering, and is a licensed Professional Engineer, Nationally Board Certified Environmental Engineer, and Certified Municipal Engineer, and he is active in numerous professional organizations. He is a Past President and Executive Board Member for the NJ Society of Municipal Engineers, serves on the Board of the Jersey Shore Partnership, Rutgers University’s School of Engineering CEE Industry Advisory Board, and Columbia University’s School of Engineering’s CBIPS. Mr. Betz is also a member of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) in New Jersey and New York, serving on the Port Authority of NY & NJ Business Practices Committee, and he is active in the ASCE, AWWA, AEANJ, NJWEA and SWANA.
