FPA Expands Into the New England Region
BOSTON, MA – French & Parrello Associates (FPA) is excited to announce its expansion into the New England market. This move reflects FPA’s commitment to serving clients across the region and enhances its presence in one of the nation’s most dynamic infrastructure markets.
Leading the company’s efforts in New England as Regional Manager is Joseph R. Strafaci, PhD, PE, a distinguished structural engineer and project manager with over 15 years of experience. Dr. Strafaci has an extensive background in structural design, construction, and urban planning, with a proven ability to manage multimillion-dollar infrastructure projects and drive sustainable development initiatives.
“Expanding into New England is a natural evolution for FPA as we continue to broaden our geographic reach,” said Steven A. Tardy, PE, President & CEO. “Joe’s expertise and leadership will ensure we bring the same high-quality, collaborative approach that our clients have come to rely on.”
Dr. Strafaci earned his PhD in Structural Engineering from Rutgers University and an MBA from Monmouth University. Recognized as one of ENR’s Top Young Professionals, he has also been actively involved in mentoring young engineers and advancing the industry through organizations such as the Transportation Research Board and The College of New Jersey’s Civil Engineering Industry Advisory Board.
To support this expansion, FPA has opened an office in Boston, Massachusetts, to serve as the regional hub for its New England operations. The Boston office will provide a full range of engineering and consulting services, including transportation, structural engineering, and urban planning solutions.
