FPA Celebrates Longstanding Partnership with the City of South Amboy
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) recently attended South Amboy Mayor Fred Henry’s final State of the City address, where he reflected on the City’s accomplishments throughout his tenure, including the recent completion of the South Amboy Ferry Terminal.
FPA has valued its longstanding partnership with the City of South Amboy, collaborating on projects that support the community’s growth, infrastructure, and future. A significant milestone in this partnership was recently reached with the completion of the South Amboy Ferry Terminal, a long-awaited project that Mayor Henry has championed throughout his years of public service.

Having served 16 years as Mayor and 18 years on City Council before that, Mayor Henry has been a driving force behind the City’s efforts to bring ferry service and a permanent terminal to South Amboy. After more than two decades of planning, coordination, and dedication, FPA was especially proud to help bring this vision to fruition and celebrate the project’s completion alongside Mayor Henry during his final year in office.
During his address, Mayor Henry also acknowledged FPA and Steven A. Tardy, PE, for their contributions to the project.
FPA extends its appreciation to Mayor Henry for his 34 years of dedicated public service and commitment to South Amboy. We are grateful for the opportunity to have played a role in realizing this longstanding vision and look forward to continuing our valued partnership with the City.
