FPA was retained by Shore Point Distributing Company to provide professional engineering services through the various stages of expansion to their previous warehouse operation up to and including the planning, design and construction oversight of their new beverage distribution warehouse operation. The new 267,800 square ft. facility was designed to provide sufficient area for sales and operation services, as well as provide dry and refrigerated storage areas needed for current and future product lines. Initial engineering services included the preparation of a subdivision plan to divide a 92-acre tract into three new lots, one of which was to house the new distribution warehouse. Other initial services included environmental testing for soil and groundwater contamination, subsurface soil and groundwater evaluation, and freshwater wetlands delineation.

Design services included the preparation of a preliminary and final site plan application, which included parking lot design, delivery truck parking, tractor trailer loading deck design, landscape and lighting design, sanitary sewer main extension design, water main extension design, and stormwater management system design in accordance with the current NJDEP stormwater management regulations. Construction phase testing and technical observation for the construction of the distribution warehouse and associated facilities, as well as, assistance in NJDOT major access permit plan preparation and various federal, state, and local approvals were also provided.
