East Brunswick Ice Arena Honored with Top Project Award
The East Brunswick Ice Arena was recently honored with a Top Project Award at the NJBIZ 2026 Leaders in Real Estate, Construction, and Design Awards. These awards recognize outstanding projects that have transformed communities, revitalized existing landmarks, or established new destinations that will serve future generations.
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) was retained by DMR Architects to perform structural engineering services for the East Brunswick Ice Arena. The facility was completed as a recreation complex designed to support community and competitive ice sports. Spanning approximately 84,000 square feet, the arena features two full-size ice rinks, locker rooms, concessions, retail and office spaces, storage areas, and spectator amenities. FPA’s scope of work included the structural design of the foundations, slab-on-grade construction and ice rink coordination, and the building’s structural framing systems, as well as construction administration support throughout the project. Today, the completed facility serves as a premier destination for skating programs, hockey, figure skating, and community events in East Brunswick.
