This presentation explores current practices and key challenges facing county officials and engineers in managing both single and multiple dam ownership scenarios. The session will provide an overview of the NJDEP Bureau of Dam Safety regulatory framework including hazard classification, inspection requirements, routine operation and maintenance, Emergency Action Plan (EAP) development, and compliance timelines.
