Monmouth Regional Athletic Fields
French & Parrello Associates (FPA) provided sports field design services for the Monmouth Regional High School District at Monmouth Regional High School in Tinton Falls, New Jersey. The fields were designed to accommodate multiple sports, providing greater flexibility for field availability across their sports program. FPA worked closely with the District through the entire design process to ensure that the finished product would exceed their expectations. FPA remained heavily involved throughout the entire construction process to provide construction administrative support and oversight, which resulted in a smooth construction period and ultimately led to an on-time deliverable.
FPA designed a subsurface drainage system for three sports fields, as well as a perimeter collection system, which was controlled by two new subsurface stormwater management collection systems. A surface perimeter trench drain system was designed along the entire inside edge of the running track. The ‘D’ zones were redesigned to include a new rubberized high jump area as well as a new long/triple jump running lane and a new pole vault event lane.
