French & Parrello Associates (FPA) provided professional engineering services for the construction of the Ocean County Vocational Technical School (OCVTS) Performing Arts Academy. The 57,000 square foot state-of-the-art academic facility is located on the main campus of Ocean County College (OCC), and is made up of three floors, containing office space, computer and science labs, classroom areas, a television studio and a black box theater.

FPA provided the mechanical, electrical, plumbing, sprinkler, IT/Data, security and CCTV, site development, site survey and structural engineering design, as well as construction administration services. LEED consideration for this building has been designed to gain 32 points with the Green Building Council.

The school, which officially opened in early 2020, serves as a new home for the OCVTS Performing Arts Academy, a four-year public high school program developed specifically for students wishing to study disciplines in the performing arts. The building also offers students of OCC with the opportunity to takes courses there in the evening.
