History at Hand in Princeton: Rehabilitation of Mountain Lakes Preserve Structures

Description
This presentation will discuss the history of the Mountain Lakes Preserve in Princeton; designated as a Historic Site (Princeton Ice Company) on the State and National Registers of Historic Places, and significant for its historic ice production, harvesting, and storage operation. The previously rehabilitated structures (dams and walls) and pedestrian paths surrounding the lakes, as well as the NJ Historic Preservation Grant and current design for rehabilitation of a historic stone arch bridge, will be discussed.
